Reflecting on my visit in September 2012, I can still feel that crisp early autumn air. Daegu is the kind of place that hooks you with its vibrant energy and genuine hospitality the moment you step off the train. Pro Tips for Travelers (Transit & Stay)

Getting There: Take the KTX or SRT from Seoul Station. You’ll arrive at Dongdaegu Station in just 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours.
Getting Around: The subway system (Lines 1, 2, and 3) is excellent. Specifically, take Line 3 (the Monorail)—it travels above ground and gives you a free scenic tour of the city!
Staying Over: Stay near Dongseongno for shopping and nightlife, or near Dongdaegu Station for the best transit connections.
