But then, I remembered a place my friend wouldn’t stop raving about: Jack Uncle Jokbal & Bossam (Seongbuk Branch) in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. I finally visited the shop myself, and wow, the hype is real!
Forget everything you think you know about Jokbal (Korean braised pig’s trotter). This place is on a whole different level. The moment I stepped inside, the savory aroma of freshly braised meat and subtle medicinal herbs hit me—it was a literal “foodie signal” that I had found the jackpot.
